Seimens IMKW6-10 reversed polarity

    Hi All,

I have a seimens SPC4320, and 2 seimens IMKW6-10 wireless window contacts. One window gave a low battery warning, so I ordered two batteries. They arrived a few days ago, I swapped them out but couldnt clear the "disconnected" error, I was rushing so just isolated the windows and got back to them today.

When I went back to troubleshoot today I realised the batteries were in reverse polarity, but now that they are right, the sensor still won't connect, my concern is I've fried something by leaving them reversed.

I deleted both sensors completely. And tried enrolling the sensors again, but when I click enroll new sensor and put the batteries in the sensor, it doesnt detect the sensor. Is that the correct procedure (addnew sensor, then install battery in sensor), and is it likley I;ve fried both sensors? Also can the tampers affect enrolling, should the cover be back on the sensor?

    Thanks
