Hi, I am currently awaiting mobility for zone 44. I am no. 1 on mobility list. However, there seems to be no movement at all. 6 months have passed and no offers. Is this unusual to be no 1 on list and not to receive any offers? I am eligible and my pmds is up to date amd sick leave is all OK. I'm a bit perplexed by it now tbh. Is there anyone else who is experiencing this with mobility?

Mobility appears to be going at a snails pace. In the past 9 months I have moved 2 places which is very disheartening, as I really need to move from my current department. Hang in there at least you are next to get an offer, can I ask have it taken you long to get to number 1.

Thank you ondamove. It has taken approx 5 years to get to the top. I thought once I got there, that I would get the call up. There doesn't seem to be many opportunities at the moment. Hopefully there will be retirements etc and we might get there soon, hope the lost starts to move for you too! It would be great if there was a bit more transparency with mobility. I feel its hard to know where you stand with it all.

Have you completed 2 years as a CO? edit, sorry just saw you've completed 5 years. Hopefully you get called soon.

    I think it’s pretty transparent.

You stand next in line; for a job filled through mobility that is. They might be due to take a new recruit next as part of their rotation, or they may have done that already. There’d be no point in them ringing you when you got to number 1, as they had probably just placed the person that was number 1 before you.

Is Zone 44 North Cork? Hang in there. You’re bound to be in the home straight.

Make sure that you don't have your mobility application on hold!
