Apart from an obd 2 reader is there any way to tell which of the 4 abs sensors is faulty (Hyundai i10)?

You might be able to disconnect them one by one, put magnet or spin the wheel and look at the resistance change, but it's a pain in the ass. A code reader will tell you in seconds.

Why do you believe it's a faulty wheel speed sensor? An "ABS" light can come on for 100 reasons.

Thanks, it's purely a guess as I had to replace one on a Tucson last month. Can you recommend a reader for abs sensors that doesn't cost a fortune.

Carly. It's an app and they also sell dongles but you can use your own cheap dongle is what I do. It's an old bluetooth dongle I bought years ago but still works fine.

Not even Hyundai diag is going to take you by the hand to an exact diagnosis. Say it's rhf sensor fault, thats anything from ABS ring to circuit in the abs pump. But depending on sensor type sometimes an AC voltmeter plugged in to a disconnected sensor should produce between 1 & 5? v AC by spinning the wheel more than 1 rev per second
