HKC Securewave disabling sensors

Hi, my parents are changing their windows later this week and asked me to sort out their alarm for them.

Is there a way to disable the actual sensors on the windows before removing them? From experience when doing it before I've set off the tamper alarm every time so had one of the kids stand at the panel and turn the alarm off each time so don't want to be doing that again as there's a load of windows coming out. They'll be replacing them anyway as the colour will no longer match.

99% I can get engineers access on their panel from when I updated the time on it before but not quite sure you need engineers code for that.

If you have the engineer code, simply put the system in engineer mode and work away.

Thanks for the advice lads. They progressed with the removal of the sensors themselves and seemed to be getting on grand with terminating the wires with red/black and blue/yellow.

But they came across this set up once or twice in which there were 2 reds into the shock sensor, 2 blacks wrapped together and a red and a black just hanging by themselves. What should they do here, continue with the red/black combos?

I suspect the additional wires are just a spur to an additional sensor on the window.

They're going to replace with wireless sensors anyway so won't be reusing the wiring, they want to hide it in the void when the windows are out.

Yes, they would be going to another sensors which looks the case in your photo.

Join the 2 reds will continue the circuit. Same with the yellow and blue in the sensor tamper.

If you are going wire free on the windows and doors then you have no need for the cables either way.

Cheers, they figured that out eventually when they removed the adjacent sensor and saw that's where the wires led.

Slowly getting there, they're onto their current wireless sensors in their conservatory. They too have wires leading into them so probably from the main ring or another sensor. They can get the sensor to report closed when they tape the magnet to them but once they disconnect the wires leading into them they report open. I suggested connecting the two wires together or removing them altogether but they still report open so don't know if they can be terminated like that or not.
