hi guys, I have type 1 diabetes and I’m overweight. My consultant prescribed ozempic for me at long last so I was excited to try it. But no pharmacy seems to stock the starting dose of 0.25!!!! I must have rang 20 chemists in the Waterford area yesterday but no one has the 0.25. Is there a pharmacy online that I could get the 0.25 with my prescription??? Gutted I can’t get it 😞😞😞😞😞

It's my understanding that a pharmacy would order anything required and not in stock, and would receive it rapidly if it's at all available, and I would be surprised if you had not been so informed.

So is it that it's not actually available, or impatience?

There is a genuine shortage. Afraid I have no real advice, except to keep trying.

There is a shortage everywhere, your GP might prescribe an alternative
