    Does anyone know if the Irish Genealogy site is not operating at the moment? I cant seem to access it on any of my devices and it's usually easy.Thanks.

    It's been down since at least Friday. Very frustrating - I had plans for the weekend! Hopefully they fix it quickly tomorrow

    A few people had noticed that some parts of the Irishgenealogy.ie website were no longer working (the dated parts about the 1916 commemoration, etc). Dept of Culture et al sent out this tweet. The site is being redeveloped.

    To head off some questions: no, there is no timeframe given. Yes, we hope they will finally put up the pre-1871 death records. No, I'm not aware of any other improvements but hope they make the map of the SRDs easier to find.
