New Season TG4 / RTE - when do they announce?

Normally in the late part of August, the terrestrial tv stations announce their new season of programmes. TV3 (or VM1 as they seem to call themselves) announced last week - does anyone know when TG4 / RTE are announcing theirs? Don't want a debate about the quality of the programmes - there's always some unexpected gem hidden away in amongst the blurb on each station. TG4 always has something unexpected in the new season.

Today, as it happens, in the case of RTE.

Yes they were really quiet about it.

Thanks icdg. Interesting that 'Listen to the Land Speak' that was in last year's release and never made it to air, is listed in this year's release.

It's largely down to the fact that RTÉ spent a total of €70k on their last autumn announcement, however you'd have to question why they are going down the road of smaller events. On Friday there was a press event held in the lighthouse, from what I can gather, for the short player comedy series Good Boy, 3 eps were previewed, there are only 4 eps in total so I am guessing another Player series no one will watch. Along with extra spending for RTÉ to announce these things at events across the year!
