Exercise/Spinning Bike Recommebdation

I’ve been doing a bit of research lately on maybe getting a decent exercise bike without too many beaks and whistles the in or astound the €500-€700is mark. I great coming back to the Schwinn 700IC as a good option. I don’t see any on sale here right now though for whatever reason. You can buy from the UK but Brexit has made that kind of stupid.

So I’m wondering if anyone here knows of local stockists for this bike? I’m not seeing anything in Google. Alternatively, I’d love to hear your recommendations for a good alternative. The use case will be in the garage so likely not best s plug so manual as possible. Placing in using Apple fitness plus so not too bothered about external apps. Also something sturdy with a high user weight factor is good. Looking for maybe a spinning bike. I’ve read magnetic resistance is the best but can be pricey so I’m open to any advice or recomm in thighs department. Thanks for your help.

Look out for a Keiser M3i second hand. Great bikes.

I should add I’d be likely placing it in my shed where’s there’s no power so an unpowered bike would be ideal

Thanks for the Keiser M3 suggestions. I’ve been looking at the various offers around the place. I see the M3 is the cheapest without handlebar adjustment. M3+ is slightly more expensive but has the adjustment. The newer models are tge M3i Lite without handlebar adjustment and the m3i with. The I models being Bluetooth connection to the table.

I was thinking of an M3+ at almost half the price of an M3i. Seems like a lot of extra money for just Bluetooth or is there more to it? I also see there is an mconnect module available and am not sure this is backwards compatible with the m3+. Even at another €200 for that it’s still worth it led than a second hand M3i.

    Any views/advice welcome! Thanks.

In case this is of help to anyone else, I went with the M3i. From talking to the supplier he mentioned they the M3+ had more use so, while it’d have been largely five, the M3i was newer and would last longer as it had comparatively less use over its life. The fundamentals of all the bikes are practically the same. They differ only in the electronics. You can’t buy a bike computer for a newer model and use it on an older model. Besides the computer there is another board down in the bike mechanism. That would have to be swapped also. That can be a significant expense. So the main lesson I learned is go for the best you can afford.

Incidentally I also purchased a K2Pi dongle which slows my bike to connect with my Apple Watch to send data like wats abd cadence. That’s about a €100 extra at time of writing.

Hope this helps someone. I hate finding my problem on old threads and either no feedback or the OP saying “Never mind, I figured it out!”
