My eldest daughter turned 21 today, so I've decided I deserve a 21 year old whiskey to mark the occasion and start a tradition for the next 3 kids, 22 nephews & nieces and in time, maybe grandkids too.

    Any recommendations? budget upto 120'ish

It might be challenging within your budget. A 21 year old from Bushmills, Redbreast or elsewhere will be 200 plus, I think.

You can get a super whisky for around 120 but it'll be something like a 15 or 16 year old, or a special edition.

Having a browse on Celtic Whiskey Shop or Drinkstore would be a good option. Redbreast 15 is in your budget. A Writers Tears special finish or a Bushmills Causeway Edition might be more interesting.

If you aren't whisky drinkers usually I'd consider going sub 100 and getting something like a Redbreast 12 or a really approachable scotch like a Balvenie double wood or Glenmorangie nectar do'or.

You will need to increase your budget quite a bit for a 21 year old.

Perhaps start celebrating when they are younger!

hmm, i may have been a tad optimistic with the budget alright! Might have to scale back the tradition to just my eldest and youngest then…nephews and nieces are on their own.
