This is the Liveline with Duffy's character type that'll be missed :)

Can't see KT being up to scratch even once a year.

A thing isn't what it says it is.

A thing is what it does.

While Dublin Bus are a complete sh1tshow and communications are all over the place, it honestly wouldn't surprise me if it was said to her group in passing, but they were already a few Smirinoff Ices in after their play and bar.

All people are interested in some nights is just getting their transport and continuing their yap

Nothing happened to her, she could have easily got a taxi instead of power-walking across Aleppo, it happens, the squeaky wheel got the grease…..time to move on

I got on the bus in Galway city recently and it ended up at the train station instead of Eyre Square like it should have. Fuming I was!

This caller sounds uncannily like Ruth Coppinger under the name Jo.

A thing isn't what it says it is.

A thing is what it does.

Joe: "We're the only country in the world where everyone says thank you to the driver when we're getting off the bus."

Does riding in the back of the Jag with Jeeves up front at the wheel all paid for by public money, count as public transport?

let’s not make it sound like she was Launched off the bus like jazz in the fresh prince of bel air.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,210 ✭✭✭Mervyn Skidmore

Blake handled that pretty well in fairness. Rookie mistake to take the call though.

I've stopped saying thank you from the middle doors getting off, fecked if I'm shouting it.

A thing isn't what it says it is.

A thing is what it does.

They are supposed to open both, fares in front, passengers out centre. Makes a quicker dis/embarking process and helps keep bus on schedule

I'm not sure Blake has the necessary skills for dealing with Dublin ne'er do wells

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 30,887 ✭✭✭✭zell12

    Was this on the promo?

Do we not have shows like Arena to cover this?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 11,930 ✭✭✭✭LambshankRedemption

Does anyone remember the "game" that was played on young people in factories back in the day How far can you send this fool?

You write How far can you send this fool on a piece of paper, put it in an envelope and say to the new guy or the work experience guy, give this to John over in Engineering. They take it to John, John reads it and says "No, this actually needs to go to Dave over on the other side of the building in Fabrication. And on and on.

I wonder did someone do something similar to Blake.
