If she gets another dog, she should name him CLIFF.

I hate the terms Fur Baby and Pet Parent. You’re a pet owner. That’s it. Absolute **** calling them anything else.

The current caller reminds me of this lad…

the uniforms are there in case child X comes in with a €150 pair of runners, while child Y cannot afford them. This teacher is about to disappear without a trace for the next 3 months. There will be no campaigning during his holidays

When the crested uniforms came in there was the sense of a bungereen going the way of the school from 1 supplier being awarded the contract.

Is this not an academic discussion anyway. If you are doing your leaving cert and you turn up sans uniform, the school can’t actually stop you from sitting your exam you would think. You’re effectively discriminating against a student and preventing them from sitting an exam with bearing on their future that they’re entitled to sit. I couldn’t see that holding up.

Of course if you do infringe laws like public decency or deeply offensive then that’s a different matter.

this teacher is living in cloud cuckoo land if he thinks the students are all shopping in penny's. The have's and have nots will soon be there for all to see, with pressure mounting on poorer students and parents alike.

If some are wearing a uniform and others are not wearing a uniform then it's not a bleedin' uniform FFS!

The poor chisler with the Strider 2 stripe runners will be outshone by the chisler wearing the 3 stripe Adidas finest.

My son's school has a small earings and no heavy makeup for girls

There is a boy 15 who dresses feminine out of class, his choice

But the other day i saw him coming out of class, full face makeup, long eye lashes and dangling earrings,

I said to the young lad does anyone not tell him off, as they get written up for very basic stuff

His answer. Dad he can do whatever he wants and if he's asked to tone it down, just goes worse

So some people will always push for more
