I think the ratio is always around 8 to 1, 10 to 1 this time of year. It's that there's only a small amount of players perceived as worth transferring in (basically the few guys who scored last week) and there are many more players being abandoned - the failed punts, players sold out of the league, players clearly not going to get minutes. So A,B,C…J are being abandoned and can all go down in price, but only being replaced by one/two players who can go up in price in response.
