Where are job offers posted these days?

I've been in my current job for more than 14 years but feel like a redundancy is around the corner. It's a big American company and they've been doing rounds of redundancies every few months for the last while.

The last time I looked for jobs, they were usually advertised on Jobs.ie. Is that still the main place where jobs are advertised or is all mainly on LinkedIn these days? Thanks in advance!

If you are not on LinkedIn, get on it. If redundancy does strike, put your status as "Open to opportunities". and recruiters will start to contact you. Indeed.ie seems to be the main job site now.

If redundancy does hit though, remember to take some time off for yourself though.

Make sure they follow European law in regard to any redundancies.

It would be better if they followed Irish law.

I've found that most big American companies know our employment laws fine, it's our consumer laws that foreign companies have trouble following.
