Tek stitching screws

Are the tek stitching screws the best way of joining one bit of corrugated sheeting to another?...seem to be as good if not better yhan pop rivets etc

Old shed here and the bottom of the sheeting on box frame doors rusted to bits...thinking of cutting the bottom 18 inches or so off and sliding a fresh corrugated sheet under it a bit so the top unrusted bit overlaps.....

There's no frame across the length/span except on the bottom of the bit im thinking of replacing (unless I go up a couple of feet more)

Would the tek stitching screws work to join the sheeting...and just attach both on the perimeter with normal tek screws?

I'll be getting rid of the rotten marine ply protecting it at the back and replacing with sheets of leftover stokbord here in the yard so the metal sheeting wouldn't be under pressure from animals etc
