Trying to charge the 330e just now. Keep getting notifications that the car has stopped charging every couple of minutes. Red/Pink light on the Zappi and it says Local Comms Lost. Anyone seen this before?

Not related specifically to a Zappi but first step would be to try an alternative type 2 charger. This will confirm whether the issue is with the Zappi or the 330e.

I had the same error after I upgraded software on my Zappi but I had Eddi there at play that was set as Master being connected to Harvi with CT clamp,so after the upgrade Zappi kept failing to receive info from Eddi and would stop charging car randomly with exactly the same error. Had to change the set up to get it working again.

Firstly can you granny charge or charge locally to keep you going?

What is the set up? Do you have an Eddi? Do you have the myenergi app set up on your phone? Do you have a harvi wireless current sensor?

If the zappi cannot get messages from a harvi wireless current sensor then it will decide to stop charging the car in an abundance of caution. It's recommended to always hard wire the zappi to the sensor in the fuse board or outdoor ESB meter cabinet. However many installers use the harvi.

Ideally call myenergi Ireland phone line during office hours while at the charger with the car.

I have tried restarting the device. But the issue keeps happening. I have the app. Weirdly sometimes the app is showing a second car connected. Very strange. Its wireless. No eddi.

I have opened a ticket with both myenergi and goelectrical. So we will see. Not installed long.

Luckily its a phev so I am not completely stuck.

For anyone else having the same issue, this is what I got back from myenergie and it worked:

    Menu - Other settings - Advanced - Pin(0000) - Linked devices - Reset settings - Press + to confirm - Re-tick set master - Re-tick set vHub - change the RF channel to 2
