Does anyone know how much information is being shared between Revenue and Social Welfare and vice versa?

    Thanks.

They do have a shared database of sorts which detects people paying tax but also with an active social welfare claim (PPSN cross check)

Beyond that i am not sure. I do know the companies office has a PPSN check for company directors so they obviously have some access but I don't know how they works

No simple answer - it all depends on what kind of cases you're talking about.

And if you're thinking about any sharp practices based on today's data sharing arrangements, they could be very different in 6 or 12 months time.

There's plenty. And they can come after you years later.
