Where exactly is the official campsite in relation to the golf course?

Couldn't find an Open 2025 thread so said I'd post here.

We're heading up in a camper for thurs-sun. Going to the golf on Saturday.

What are the chances of driving into Portrush town late in the evening and parking up somewhere? Did this in Troon last year and worked out great.

Hyped for this now - my tickets are now on the app… Always a bit nervous until you actually have possession.

That is hard to predict to be honest, your best bet will be up at the Ramore Ave, Lansdowne Crescent area of town. This is probably the furthest area of town from the course (maybe 15-20 mins walk) but it is close to a lot of the craic at nights, the Ramore Wine bar, Harbour Bar etc

There is a big free car park at Lansdowne crescent, it may have a height barrier from memory and max stay is 24 hours so you may have to move it about.

Portstewart, is another option, you will have no bother there, it’s only 2-3 miles from Portrush and places like Amici restaurant and the Anchor to name just two will be buzzing all week
