Item sold from Amazon UK doesn't have CE marking

I bought an item from Amazon and it doesn't have CE marking. It has the UK equivalent which is UK CA.

I'm looking for a reason to return the item and Amazon will cover postage if it doesn't meet safety standards. Can I use this as a reason for return? If I just wanted to return it myself, I would have to pay postage but feck that.

You get refunded the postage fee so just say it wasn't up to the standard you expected.

I'll add to my last post in case your not used to returning stuff to Amazon, make sure you keep the receipt for the postage cost and you have to email a photo of it to Amazon after they receive the item back for a refund of postage. Address below.

Sold in Ireland is a bit different to you importing it into Ireland.
