I'm strongly thinking of taking the plunge next year and getting the big big one off the bucket list

So is it cheaper to go with the packages or DIY ? WM tickets be more plentiful giving the size of Aligent Stadium

Have the OYO Hotel and Casino booked (with free cancellation) for $882 for 6 nights (Weds 16th- Tues 22nd)

Spending money would probably be in the region of $250 a day

Flights won't be cheap either and most likely with stopovers involved etc

    Any advice welcome ?

I went to my first Mania this year in Philly.

Have been to Vegas 4 times and am going to Mania next year also.

I booked everything myself and will do the same again. Packages seem very overpriced to me.

Oyo is a little off the strip and you will probably need to Uber quite a bit. Would recommend Luxor or Excalibur as budget options which are close to the stadium and on the strip.

Aer Lingus have recently started doing direct flights on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday. Would strongly recommend booking with them. Prices are decent and it will really take the sting out of the travel length with no stopover.

    Any other questions fire away.

Happy days, The Rio is off strip and will mean some Ubers but it’s recently been renovated so should be a nice place to stay.

You’ll have a blast, I enjoyed this years so much. Really is an amazing experience.

I’ll be doing the 4 shows as well and probably Wrestlecon and some other bits.

    Nice

It's my first time in the States, it definitely won't be a pint down the local feel ha

Booked direct flights with aer lingus for 750 direct.

Booked my accom with the Exclaibur through the MGM rewards app. Got 4 comped nights, $75 freeplay and $150 resort credit all for a total price of $52.15 for 5 nights. I'm sure I'll have a resort fee to pay at the hotel too.

Stayed in Excalibur before it's fine, close to the stadium too.

Also don't be scared of taxi's they used to rip tourists off but now they have flat fees from the airport. Here's the map and pricing.

Although if you are in a group I had a blast with Presidential limos before. They take you to the shops / dispensaries (😄), blast whatever music you wanna play. Great way to kick off your holiday.

    Just a few more tips…

If you like bargains there are plenty of apps you can download (MyVegas, MGM Slots Live, etc) Play these a lil bit build up some coins you can then trade the coins for free/discounted stuff.

Revolut offer esims through the app. Most hotels have wifi and that but it's a good backup to have some data if you plan on getting Ubers, etc.

If you plan on hitting the clubs book in advance. You can get on guest lists through promoters but you will be queuing. Hakkasan and Omnia are really great. You can buy your ticket and a card loaded with $100 for like $115 and skip the queues. I'm a bit old now for that but very cool experience.

Got a 'silver package' for MITB in London last year which included 'The gift & Lanyard', priority checkout in the megastore and of course the golden ticket including priority entrance into the Arena. It cost roughly €377 but like everything those prices have gone up since then. With the way tickets went for that MITB i was happy i got it. If I could afford it for Mania I'd probably do it again but think I'd rather go with the Ticketmaster sale.

My advice is price OnLocation and take it from there
