Samsung galaxy A15 mobile data connection problem

Hi everyone,

Got a Samsung galaxy a15 phone. The mobile data doesn't work when out and about, have to rely on WIFI networks when out, which is a pain and would like to get it sorted. My mobile data is turned on in the settings..just doesn't work. Is this a known issue and what can I do to fix it?

Did it work in another phone?
Did it ever work in this phone?
What network are you on?
Have you data roaming enabled?
Make sure the apn is selected and not just saved.
Have you tried reset the network settings?

Hi there. Many thanks for your reply. yes my internet works on my old phone (an Xperia L1) with no problems. Never worked on this phone. I'm with Tesco mobile. Don't have data roaming on, but have tried it. Have tried resetting network settings

Data roaming should be switched on all the time regardless of whether you are outside ROI or not as you Tesco are an MNVO so they technically roam on 3's network of masts. Was your last phone using same tesco sim? You could also try receive the settings from them again if you have not done that already.

I'd double-check that the APN settings are correct - sometimes they don't get imported from a SIM the first time you insert it into the phone especially from MNVOs like Tesco
