Credit Union and missing 2K

Back in January I transferred almost 2K to my bank account to pay some bills after the Christmas holiday. The situation the OP is in, is between him and the builder. it is just poxy that they have the situation and the money was transferred to the one person you didn't want it to.

if it had have went to the local shop, the dog groomer or the painter it wouldn't have been an issue

CU acknowledged the issue and fixed it as soon as they could, that's all a company can do.

Your situation was different and the source was withholding service or money to you. so you chased it, the CU didnt do this, they saw the issue and fixed it… initial mistake was made which they owned up for, and fixed ASAP

what the OP could potentially claim for was the bills they took the money out to pay if there were any direct debit rejections or interest in the 2 weeks they were waiting on the money to transfer over.

But in no way are they going to get 2k free from a credit union for a mistake
