HIK CCTV Device Error

    Hi Guys

    I have a HIK CCTV 4 camera system. When go to live view on the app for any of the cameras it says "Device Error". I can still watch playback and events messages etc.

    To get over this I have to reboot the system. This happens about once a week, getting annoying at this stage!

    I can't find anything online to help or suggest a fix.Any ideas what is causing it?

    I was also thinking of changing the system to Colour Vu. Is it a case of just swapping the cameras or do I need a new box etc. ? I trust I can use the current cables to connect new cameras
