Anyone else having issues with bills they receive from recycle right? They advertise their 6 monthly household bin collection on their website for €151.50. For the last few years they have been sending me invoices for amounts progressively higher than this. The latest one I have just received is for €169.50. When I query this they just say the price has gone up, the price of 151.50 is only for new customers and only applies for 6 months. This is not stated anywhere on their website. Another issue is they are supposed to deduct €3 from your bill for each time during the previous 6 months your Gen Waste bin is not put out for collection. They hardly ever do this, I always have to chase it up with them.

Try a different company :)

I always thought they were a "trash" company 😂 oh wait I'm with them. I should check my bills. They are all in cahoots to be fair

Hmm… I hadn't noticed, must check. I also went 6 months last year forgetting to pay them (Direct debit stopped for some reason)

im after going 2 years approx without paying them. i didnt know the direct debits had stopped on my account. i think recycle right dont do direct debits any more.

i went almost 8 months and then got an email to say i needed to make a payment or the bins wouldnt be collect so not i just pay on the website

What happens if you moved to another bin supplier. Your original contract probably stated direct debit

This exactly happened me, only recently noticed. I had signed up for direct debit 2 years ago, no issues for the first few months and then they stopped it, because i certainly didnt. Bins were always collected and I tbh wouldnt be noticing 27 a month coming from my account, now I owe them 400+. Dont feel like I should have to pay the fuckers either. What did you do ?

Just got the latest invoice and now they're trying to charge me €175.49 for 6 months. I've being paying them monthly for the last year, €25.25 per month x 12 = €151.50, the price for 6 months still quoted on their website with nothing mentioned about this price being for new customers and only applying for 6 months.They also falsely claim when I signed up that I was told this. Can anyone remember being told when they signed up that the price of 151.50 only applies for 6 months? I certainly wasn't.

Yes 22.75/month is what they advertise on their website which works out at €136.50/6m. Just checked and my last invoice was 154.50… Need to be keeping an eye on them in future I think
