Immersion heater

    hi the immersion heater is tripping out on the bath setting but not the sink - does it mean the element could be gone?

    I do IR test them anyway but they're invariably faulty

    There's an incaloy type that should last longer . I dunno does many use them.

    The best method is REC tests and disconnects

    Plumber swaps it out and REC reconnects

    That means 2 trades , ya can take a chance on the plumber doing the lot but there's some risk with him doing the electrics
