TCL 65C805K

Hi guys, as per title looking at this TCL TV since few weeks now, it's seems to tick all the boxes for me in terms of what it's offer in this price range,but I'd like to have a second opinion, maybe there is something else worth looking at in this price range (up to 1k€). TV mainly used for all streaming services and Xbox series x.

To be honest the TCLs are fantastic TVs - the Mini LED panels look brilliant, we have one of the older versions on display and the only TVs that really outperform them are the OLEDs. They also have great motion processing and a good smart hub with Google TV.

The only one I would recommend above it would be the Philips 65PML9009 which is an Ambilight Mini LED panel. It's a little more though at 1188 euro:

Hi, i was settled with tcl c805k as well, but now can't decide, because can't find any reviews on plm9009. I will be using it for netflix, prime video, and internet tv, which is not the best quality. How is upscaling on Philips? Does it have internet browser? Which one has better picture quality?

And how is Panasonic Mx950?

Thanks for getting back to us jungenas.

The TCL is still a fantastic TV but I just think the colour and brightness on the Philips would be a little more natural. I haven't actually seen a PML series in the flesh but I'm just basing that on the difference between the TCL and Philips LED panels. It also uses a Chromium browser.

The Panasonic MX950 has a great processor, the HCX Pro, but again it's not a TV I've had on display so i haven't seen it up and running yet. They'd be on par with the Philips though in terms of specification with Dolby Vision and HDMI 2.1 but they use the Panasonic Homescreen operating system.
