Moving from practice to industry

I’ve been working in small practice for almost 20 years. A good mix of work - sole trades, small companies, vat, payroll, company secretarial, income tax, corporation tax etc.

An opportunity has presented itself for a role in industry as an accountant for a company, a new role as the company is growing. It’s tempting - a change. But some of the duties of the role include cash flow and budgeting which I’ve not really much experience in. But able to prepare management accounts and tax returns.

Any advise about moving from practice to industry?
