I’m thinking of signing up for the Docklands 5km on July 11th ( https://docklands5k.com ). Has anyone done it before? Anyone recommend?

Its a tight start where they try to squeze entries into a road that is too narrow to hold that many so you'd want to try and get up near the front if you're after a time. Its on in the evening which is good if the weather is warm.

You can sign up for a get together afterwards if you're interested.

I dont know why they dont start that race down at the turnaround by 3 arena, it would be so much more logical.

Its still a good, flat race though and put on by a decent club.
