Wifi Calling

    We have no mobile signal where we live and have just started using Wifi calling using a Samsung A53 5g. The problem is we cannot send or receive texts messages, any ideas why this is?

    Vodafone?

    Not all networks support SMS over WiFi/LTE. It will come.

    You'll only get your texts when you have mobile coverage, so maybe leave your phone on the window sill occasionally.

    It might help to activate RCS messaging in your messages app settings.

    Thanks for the reply. It's Eir Mobile, I do have RCS on and have contacted Eir Mobile and they confirmed

    that I should be able to send/receive texts, not even receiving all calls now!

    We can only receive an odd text now again by hanging out of the bedroom window and can't do that for

    long as you get bitten to death by midges 😂
