Cost of replacing Brake lines/hoses

My Toyota Auris petrol hybrid failed NCT today due to rear "damaged/corroded brake lines "

How much should I expect to pay to have them replaced?

Take it to a good independent mechanic.

They'll put it up on a lift and get a look, it might not be as bad as you think.

That's pricey.

Main dealers charge more.

Try an independent.

It's a more labour than parts job.

Depending on how their done parts might be a few hundred at absolute worst case but fitting should only bring it up to €400 absolute tops.

Its 2013 model. Had it looked at by main car dealer service dept. Says it needs 4 rear ones replaced and quoted €722. Id just like to know if this is reasonable

I’d go to a decent independent. Last time I needed it done was on a 01 Focus, and my guy charged 200 I think.
