Bin bags location

Are you only allowed leave tagged bin bags on your own street? If you miss your collection day, as a once off, is it possible to leave a bag on a street that has a different collection day by the same company?

Not 100% sure but I don't see why not. I'd presume once the binman sees the label on it he'd throw it in the truck.

Note that the city is divided into 5-6 areas for waste collection, with a day allocated to each suburb and every day in the city centre. You might have a fair hike to find somewhere where it is collection day on your desired day.
