    Hi all,

We will have a warm deck roof on our extension. The roof will overhang on both sides. The architect has spec'd solids on the flat which we have done ad then 2x1's, airtightness tape then 112mm insulated plasterboard.

My question is, can we use 100mm foil back insulation straight to the wall then timber battons then plasterboard? All so we don't need to interfere with insulation which cutting out sockets etc and we can also cut the insulation around d the ceiling joists to prevent air coming in from eaves? Or is there a moisture issues that way?

    Thanks for any replies.
