I have an 11 year old Miele washing machine (Ed 111 W3164). It has done an enormous amount of work over the past 11 years and still washes perfectly. I have an 11 year old Miele washing machine (Ed 111 W3164). It has done an enormous amount of work over the past 11 years and still washes perfectly. The only problem is it won’t spin and drain anymore. The pump works perfectly in that when the wash cycle finishes it pumps out all the water (I can see this in the drain pipe the machine is connected to) but as soon as it starts spinning the water stops draining and the spin cycle doesn’t go up to a high speed. If I then open the drain filter the water starts releasing and the spin goes up to the higher speed. Baffled. Any suggestions?
