New Saturday Schedule at RedFM

New schedule at RedFM on Saturdays is very interesting. It’s the first time I think that Stevie G won’t be on a Saturday night 7 to 10 since the very beginning of RedFm back in January 2002!. He’s now 4to 6 on a Saturday. Great to see the Big Red Bench (6-7 pm)surviving the big schedule change, that’s been there since the 2002 too! Marty Guilfoyle now on 7-10pm , is that the same show on Spin 6-9? Has Spin come to Red in a small way?. Other than those changes KC sensibly gets a rewind show 7-9 am and good presenters like Cathal Minogue and Katie Jane get 9-12 and 12 -4 respectively. 96Fm and C103 must be winning ratings on a Saturday if this change was needed? They have had a solid schedule for years that’s had very little change.

I think it's a bit surprising to see Marty Guilfoyles show on Red because I thought they were modeling themselves on 98fm not Spin ?

Is Stevie G still wearing a baseball cap back to front like an early 90s rapper (a la Vanilla ice or Marky Mark)? It’s wearing a bit thin at his age. He must be the eldest presenter on Red other than Neil P.

C103 did make some significant changes to their Saturday and Sunday output in 2022, it seems so as to better take on Classic Hits radio.

Here is one newspaper letter writer (towards end of page) unhappy about the 2022 axing of Tim Coughlan's Sunday night Irish Traditional music show, which must have been going for around 3 decades?:
