I wanted to cancel an online order but was too late. The customer service bot advised me to either return it or just refuse delivery. Has anyone ever done this - refuse delivery? Is the courier able to take it back properly?

I know they've advised me to do this but it seems strange.

I did it with XtemeInn part of the TradeInn online store group. I indicated with the courier "REFUSING DELIVERY" I did'nt get my money back.

XtremeInn claimed that they would have to get the GoPro Camera Shell back that I had ordered.

In fact this is what XtremeInn always claimed when I contacted them.
