moving double Socket

need to move a double socket, currently, there isint enough slack cable, so will need to cut into insulated plaster board to fit new slimlime back box , will use some wago connectors to join the cables and pop the joiners into small coffin box in exising back box.

anything else to be aware of?

Be aware of zones and where wires should go. Are you going to just cover the existing socket with a blanking plate or do you intend to hide it?

It's classed as "Minor electrical works" which can be carried out by a competent person which is on Safe Electric Ireland website.
