I honestly didn't believe this was real until I went on twitter and checked myself. What the hell are future generations of historians going to be writing about that image! Just insane.

I was going to say, astonishingly yes it's true, but astonish is in hiding with checks and balances

And the 'reciprocal' tariffs are back !!

Japan, S Korea, Malaysia, Kazakhstan, South Africa, Laos, and Myanmar first to be hit.

He 'invites them to participate in the extraordinary Economy of the United States' and threatens that any raising of tariffs by them will be added to the US rates at the same amount.

He wouldn't give too shites about him only that he feels that Bolsonaro is being treated like he thinks he is. What is happening to Bolsonaro should have happened to Trump. Either the law of the country applies to its citizens equally or it undermines the rule of law. A cornerstone of a just and democratic society is equality before the law, and then there is Trump.

Seems to be true and factual as well. Has Bolsonaro, through sources, asked Trump for asylum?

Theres 100 of websites online newspapers that criticize trump and the gop daily if you get your news from cnn Fox news MSNBC you are wasting your time

www.techdirt.com. Has a great article that shows how cuts to the weather service and local federal agencys helped to make the floods more deadly and dangerous than it would have been if it happened 3 years ago . essential staff that monitor weather and coordinate flood emergency response have been laid off Trump wants to shut down Fema and let states take care of their own emergency response

FFS, because the US has seven times the population of South Korea, of course there is always going to be a trade deficit.

All a trade deficit means is that the US population is rich enough to be able to afford goods from other countries.

Nobody is pulling a fast one on anybody else.

The only one pulling a fast one is Trump, on his own people mostly.

The stuff about trade deficits and who pays tarrifs seems so totally obvious - I know nothing about international trade or economics, but I can understand that much - but no one seems to be willing to challenge any of the Trump people. Many of them surely know he is talking rubbish, its hard to believe that there are so many of them who are willing to make themselves look utterly professionally stupid in supporting Trump.

Trump's tarrif letters and pronouncements are unbelievably irrational, rude and undiplomatic. How can you argue, or negotiate with someone so profoundly stupid, and so ready to lie about anything and everything? I gather the EU's response is mostly about the US agreeing to not move the goalposts/change the tarrifs again after they come to an agreement. He is lowering the IQ of the entire world by his existence.

Careful now, you're getting into realm of fake news 😀

    • Populations matter to trade figures
    • End consumers ultimately pay more
    • Next you'll be saying VAT isn't a trade barrier used particularly against US goods

Netanyahu tickling trumps nutsack and nominates him for a peace prize. I really hope he doesn't get one.

Can a genocidal war criminal nominate someone for a peace prize?

The US media are useless, they are all afraid of losing access

Agree completely. The media are absolutely complicit in this because Trump is great copy, and not only is he great copy, he's easy copy. He writes his own stupid headlines everyday.

Several categories can nominate; members of parliament and members of government in all countries are one. So, yes, a genocidal war criminal can nominate, if he falls into this category or one of the others.

But typically 250-300 people are nominated each year, so there's a great gap between nomination and winning. The Nobel Committee does not announce who has been nominated, but the people who make nominations are free to announce them if they wish. Most nominations are a form of arselickery, done with no expectation on the part of either the nominator or the nominee that victory will result. The more public and ostentatious the announcement of the nomination, the more it looks like arselickery. Netenyahyu handed Trump a copy of the letter of nomination in public, at a dinner, and he made a little speech about it

so you can draw your own conclusions

Trump has been nominated for the Prize several times before, the first (that we know of) in 2018, when Christian Tybring-Gjedde, a far-right anti-immigrant Islamophobic Eurosceptic climate-change-denying Norwegian politician announced that he had nominated him. He was not successful on that occasion, nor in 2020 when Tybring-Gjedde nominated him again.

Netenyahu isn't even the first person to have nominated him this year; since January he has been nominated by Darrell Issa, a MAGA Repulican member of the House of Representatives; Claudia Tenney another MAGA Repulican member of the House of Representatives (who for good measure has also introduced legislation to make Trump's birthday a national holiday); Buddy Carter who, by an astonishing coincidence, is also a MAGA Repulican member of the House of Representatives; and the government of Pakistan, who — and I'm sure this is wholly unconnected — are hoping that Trump will not re-impose the 39% tariff that he announced for Pakistan on Stupid Tuesday.

By now, Trump's arse must be fairly damp from this tsunami of lickery, not to mention squeaky-clean. But I still wouldn't be putting money on him actually winning the prize any time soon.

Mexico have sent firefighters and search personnel to help with the flood in Texas. After all the nonsense they've had to deal with from the orange turd. That's what real leadership and humanity looks like.

…meanwhile Trump is in the process of gutting FEMA and the weather service and assistance projects to other countries. Thats how far the US has fallen under Trump and his sycophants in Cabinet and Congress.

Do ye all remember when it came out that Saville did awful things, most were shocked..

Others,.who weren't used to his bizarre appearance and behaviour, weren't shocked whatsoever.

Have a look at this to unaltered photo…

    1000012881.png

Everyday, he gets up, has bronzer applied (very poorly too),.has what remains of his hair twisted and lackered to within an inch of its life, puts on a suit and comes out to cosplay as a president while grifting as much as he possibly can for himself.

We are used to this, but it isn't for one moment, "normal".

I was thinking more on this and came to conclusion that what Trump wanted to introduce to US are European style VAT (to raise money for his tax cuts on rich) but couldn’t do that due to decades of Fox News propaganda

So he decided to tax the consumers on imports via taxes instead which sort of similar (but much more stupid)

It’s only a matter of time before retailers in US start displaying “trump tax” on shelves to make it clear whom exactly made the products more expensive imho

Would any hand writing professional - even retired ones so that Trump cannot sack them - out there care to have a shot of analysing Trump’s ‘personality’ from his signature. The ones I am aware of are ‘ quiet accurate.

A classical example of ‘The King With No Clothes ‘ . Trump thinks that he is pulling a fast one but the rest of us , with any modicum of an alive brain- know that it is 1000% not true

    E

Benjiman has just made it triply (!) sue that Trump will be finally not be awarded the Nobel Peace Prize

He has never faced any consequences for anything his whole life.

He even got shot in the head, and ended up looking like a war hero afterwards.

Trump's biography is the single biggest piece of evidence that either god does not exist, or there is a god, just one with an extremely warped sense of humour

He didn't get shot in the head, he got a scratch from a bullet.

Trump's existence just gives the lie to libertarianism. They tell us that the free market makes the cream float but it also makes floaters sit on top as well. Nothing to do with God. Give someone like Trump a millimetre and they take a metre. American society and institutions are just set up for the benefit of the ruling elite and the oligarchs.

Shows you how craven Rapublican members of Congress are. That kid in the fairytale had more courage than all of them put ogether when he drew attention to the king's attire.
