Ok. this is a strange one and I need your help.

I'm a Virgin Media broadband customer. A few days ago I bought 2 new domains for a new business I plan on starting later this year.

I added the domains to my hosting etc, ( I build websites all the time this process never changes, I know what I'm doing :) ) - I've over 20 domains/sites and they all load/work without any issues.

When I added the domains I waited a few days, but one didn't work, It just didn't load.

The other was fine, no issues.

After spending days trying to figure out what the issue was I've resolved to the fact that Virgin Media may be blocking this domain from some past issue, ( I don't know)

I've spoken to them, they've no clue.

If I access the domain via VPN or from a different network (like 3 Mobile/4G ) it loads no problem. So it's leading me back to thinking it's Virgin media blocking this.

I don't want to start a new business using this domain it loads of potential customers around Ireland can't see my site.

So, Can any Virgin Media customers check my new site and tell me if it loads for you?

    it's https://gamershut.ie/

    Thank you.

    Some extra data,

    C:\Users\newpc>tracert gamershut.ie
Unable to resolve target system name gamershut.ie.

    C:\Users\newpc>nslookup gamershut.ie 8.8.8.8
    Server: dns.google
    Address: 8.8.8.8

    Non-authoritative answer:
    Name: gamershut.ie
    Address: 217.195.152.209

It loads fine, but has a maintenance message up.

Thanks for checking. Yes I've not started building the page. I didn't want to start until I know people can actually see it,

Can you confirm you are using VM broadband when checking ?

As I said it does load for me over VPN and G4 (from three).

Yes, just normal VM broadband, no VPN, DNS is google's as in your own example.

    tracert gamershut.ie

On Virgin Media Home Broadband, it loads fine.

Run nslookup gamershut.ie without specifying 8.8.8.8 and post the results. By manually inserting 8.8.8.8, you're telling nslookup not to use your default DNS server, which means you get a different result to what your browser is using.

Also, connect a different device to your home network and test that.

Get a dns lookup and tracert from them then, and we'll see what's different.

I did those test to rule things out.

I have tested other things. I tested this on 2 other devices, 1 mobile phone on wifi and my other PC and it wasn't loading.

BUT, I just retested it after reading your message,, and now it's loading fine.

So… I wonder if it was blocked my VM and they unblocked it,
