It looks like Gareth O'Callaghan has taken over the show for the time being, but I would have thought Adrian Kennedy was the one most likely to get the job. He and Dixon have shown that they can still attract a big audience. What will happen to Boylan if he doesn't succeed in his political career?

Classic hits are advertising for a new late nite talk presenter so I doubt he'll be coming back there... hasn't he his own studio where he does podcasts

I suppose for now it is ...who knows.....and he'll probably keep podcasting either way whether he were to be elected to the European parliament or not but a MEP salary with it would be more manageable for it.

I only hear it being advertised on the classic hits programming...I have it on all the time at work and home...where else it's being advertised...if it is....I don't know and really doesn't bother me

he's not trying very hard at his postering campaign. i've only seen his posters in one place, a one mile stretch of road at the st. margaret's end of dublin airport - and there are over 60 posters on that stretch.

Stunt or not , I wish him all the best ! He got out of Edenmore in D5 while a heroin epidemic ripped that community and so many parts of Dublin asunder in the 80's ! He was great to listen too , unlike the "talent" on RTE who bar Terry Wogan wouldn't have made it in any other market !
