Diagnosed (mri) with Prepatellar bursa edema on left knee. Weirdly no swelling but 3 weeks ago the pain that comes without any warning usually when doin nothing nothing (standing/sitting) was debilitating. Like a hot knife being slashed across kneecap and then gone seconds later but body in shock for another minute or so. At its worst 50 flares a few weeks ago in one day, ended up in a&e and then the mri.

Took it easy that last few weeks and defintely easing with anti inflammatory and ice with rrest.Pain not as bad butt still not gone and I'm not the lightest gent in the world and missing walking, light running etc.

Anyone ever have same and does it come back or with rest and ice eventually goes.

The pain at its worst is easily a 10!

    Any Help, welcomed.
