Rebuild engine or Replace

Headgasket went in my Lexus is200 and just wondering what's peoples opinion on what I should do. Current engine has 165k Miles on it headgasket gone, coolant leaking into c chamber. Engine overheated on me.

Complete engine ready for car €450 + labour or take off the head send it for skimming, new gasket and put back together. Whats peoples thoughts on what I should do?

Personally im leaning towards a new engine, imo its a handier process and very easy to take old one out. but please lmk what you would do. Thanks

How much do they want to do the head gasket?

You say the car overheated, has the block warped..

You have only given pricing for a replacement engine..

If you know your car has good service history and you have serviced it regularly then I would have the whole top end done inc pistons and rings etc rather than buy an engine you know nothing about.
