Luas services restored after power outage this evening.

RTÉ News reported that there was no Luas services on The Green Line for 1 hour 15 minutes this evening due to a power outage on the line. It happened at 5:30pm during rush hour. RTÉ News reported that there was no Luas services on The Green Line for 1 hour 15 minutes this evening due to a power outage on the line. It happened at 5:30pm during rush hour.
Power technicians are still working to find the exact cause of the fault.
The Red Luas Line also had a shorter outage occurring between Smithfield and Tallaght/Saggart this evening.
Luas have said on X that passenger can expect delays and to allow additional time for travel.
