Guarda hand held radar cameras

Was on the way home this afternoon saw a gaurda car parked up on the over pass as you head into the Jack lynch tunnel from the mahon side I am wonder can they just take photos of the cars or do they have to case you to find out who is driving

Some of the Garda lasers can take a picture, but they are usually on tripods.

The one that is most in use does not take photos and the Garda has to stop you.

Unless you are unlucky, they tend to give decent leeway and only stop those speeding excessively.

The newer ones they have now can take photos but my observations are that they still come after people and pull them in from what I've seen.
