Bruce Springsteen Concert Parking

Hi, I am travelling from Kerry for the concert late afternoon. I normally park in Black Ash when shopping in the city but it is not open late for the concert. There are no options of return trains or buses after concert. I'm guessing the city will be very busy after 5pm. Someone suggested I park in Ballincollig & get the 220 bus, does anyone use this bus route and know if I can park my car near one of the bus stop locations. I have heard suggestions to park at the other GAA pitch or Rugby club near the stadium and go via Mahon but I am guessing by this time they will be full. Any suggestions would be appreciated as i am not familiar with the area. thanks.

The main park and ride in the city not operating for the biggest concert of the year is a bit Irish.

I don't use that bus, but there's plenty of free parking near the cinema. That's just off the main street and a short walk to the bus stop next to Ballincollig Garda Station.

Is the parking next to Blackrock Castle free? You could park there and walk to the stadium in 10/15 mins max via The Marina. Or else a city centre car park and walk down Centre Park Road

Why would you discourage someone from parking out of town and bussing in, if they are willing to do it? Do you like traffic congestion?

I'm all for park and ride options/parking and bussing. But there are closer options to park is all I'm saying. Do you like traffic congestion 😁

Not sure where you're coming from in Kerry but another option is to go as far as train station in Mallow and park up there, then get the 20 minute (€4.40) train into Cork. They've trains going back to Mallow at 23.20 and 00.20 so it's handy to get back there in 20 minutes and then you're on the road home, near enough.

The lighting and parking is a big issue for PUC, lots of falls on way out over no lights and wet grass, AGS useless by The Venue, cars parked blocking so big traffic backed up and folks walking on the roads

I think an area down by Marina road could be used as a car park and blocking off major roads to taxis and buses nearer PUC especially in the weather was bad

If traffic was allowed down there the capacity for thousands of people on foot would be greatly reduced meaning the majority of people would be much longer walking in the rain. The majority would queue on foot to get out so that a minority could park near the venue?

Disabled access only should be allowed anywhere near the venue , in my view. 40 odd thousand people need to get in and out. That's not going to happen in any kind of efficient manner with cars and busses.

From what I could see disabled parking was far away also

That area with LATM and PUC needs some near enough designated parking area
