Any female have/had this problem? My wife (she doesn't use the laptop) has this problem over a long period of time. It causes constant pain. She has met a consultant and has not improved the situation. Wasn't given any remedy. She had various scans and MRI's but no recommendations, apart from painkillers.

What has the doc called it?. Like symphysis or something else?.

AFAIK she is not aware that her GP said anything in that line, apart from the gap.

Its a thing and it's sometimes nasty but I don't know enough to talk more about it, only discovered it due to my own pain saga.. She could ask to be referred to a pain specialist and/or a gynaecology consult if that hasn't been done.. Asked her if she's had a smear test because some GP surgeries do this and the nurses can be quite knowledgeable about either symptoms or who to contact.

She has been referred to a dietician. Hopefully, she might something positive.
