Utility room countertop

Hi All Planning on updating my utility room. We have a old countertop of 600 x 800mm. If I wanted to replace that would I need to buy a large sheet or would I be able to get a piece cut of that size ?

For that size you might ask for an off-cut from a kitchen-supply company or local chippie, probably the best bet there.

B&Q often have a box of off cuts that you can get for cheap/free.
They would also cut a full length down for you, but you will pay for the full length.
