Anyone see this? I just watched it there now. Did not think it was great.

I am sure it would have looked lovely on a Cinema screen but the times it is on just did not suit me so I streamed it on my phone.

The ending was utter crap.

For what it is, it's grand… low budget, well contained, high concept.

Think the way the story unfolded could've been tighter, with some of the performances and character development being a bit irritating, and the use of music was a bit over the top at times, with loud blasts of "feel things!!!!". But ultimately for the money, for a nuts and bolts space thriller, it's turned out alright.

As an aside, I dunno how you can watch a movie on a phone… some small scale tv shows can just about be alright, but I feel like if i've watched a movie on a phone i've not actually watched that movie. Ya just miss so much of the directors intention for the experience. I just saw Challengers the other night - something like that simply wouldn't work on a phone for instance, the shot selections and score carrying so much of the emotional weight at key moments, and if they're not having any impact on a 5 inch screen then you just miss what the film was built to make you feel.

Sure look, we don't have all the time in the world, so I get it, but I think it'd drive me nuts 😅

Saw this in cinema. It was okay. Did kind of run out of steam as it went on. Very good acting though.

I used to be like that too. My brother woukd be watching movies and shows on his phone and I would say I will never do that but I do now. Sure it woukd be better on a big screen but when you live in the country and do not have a Cinema next to you one does what one has to do. I will probably watch Chalkangers this way too. No intention of seeing it in the Cinema either. My next film will be "Kingdom of the Planet of the Apps" :) That I will go see in the Cinema :)

It also says that they woukd nor bring politics to the station but then they do. The whole promise of the film was stupid . I mean if the World below is being nuked what's the point in having the station when neither nation would be able to afford it anymore let alone get to it because the World economy would have imploded and inflation would be massive so money would be worthless.
