    does anyone know if any of the nurserys or garden centres around Limerick offer a service where they would help in recommending certain trees, shrubs, plants suitable to our garden and its layout?

    Do you mean, come out to the premises to view the garden and then make recommendations or you tell them the size, shape, sunlight, shadows, etc and then they recommend plants/layout.

    D&M Garden Centre. Very good. Take pictures and bring them along.

    yeah, just bring along a sketch of the garden (with the aspect) and some photos, and most places will be happy to recommend things.
