This is the one of the domains used by Virgin Media so there isn't anyway to get rid of it

thanks, at least it's not malicious. The only thing is that I'm not with VM. I was previously with them, and still use the same router (my own one, as I kept the VM one in bridge mode).

It sounds as if you need to run ipconfig /flushdns to try to flush the DNS cache on your PC.
If that doesn't work, you might need to do a hard reset of your router
