End of Life Vehicle

    Hi all, surrendered an end of life vehicle to a registered car wrecker some weeks back, did paperwork and surrendered log book etc.

    but no sign of any official correspondance, whose remit does it fall under, called wreckers yard and they've done there end of it

    but want to follow up and be sure ?

    yeah tried that already,not showing anything, might try giving them a call, tax due and dont want to keep getting reminders etc.

    I half remember scrapping a car a couple of years back and getting a cert of some kind there and then. Like a double-signed statement of "I surrender this car to this company for destruction etc etc and it is received by us said company for transport yadda yadda"

    Postal Certificate of Destruction came in the post 2/3 days later

    Give them a ring to be sure defo
