Parking/charging for a gig in the point/3 arena

Im going to a gig in a few weeks in the point/3 arena, coming from the Eest and I'm just wondering if there is somewhere I could charge while parked while at the gig?

I have an ioniq 38, According to ABRP, if I drove to the point I would have 21% left if I started with 100%

The ioniq being slow to rapid charge, getting enough power to make the retunr would probably extend the return journey more than I would want to.

Is there anywhere I could park and maybe AC charger for a few hours while at the gig? Or does over stay chargers make it not really a possibility? Even somewhere on the Luas line like the red cow etc

Not the end of the world if it doesn't suit as I could bring the diesel car, just the Ev car is nicer and cheaper to run for the home charged portion, just wondering if it's an option

There are chargers on the South side of Liffey, on or close to Sir John Rogerson's quay

We've just had some discussion on those ones here. Can't remember which thread, but well advised to stay away from them as some scrotes have taken to gluing the cables to the charge point.

The Carrickmines Luas park and ride has 4 22kW chargers. Don't know if there's an overstay fee, but you wouldn't think so being a park and ride car park. Maybe others know the answer to this.

Could be tight. He says he'll have 21% left according to ABRP which is about 8kWh. The chargers there are 7kW, so he might just get away with three hours (21kWh) to get him to 29kWh or 76%. Maybe too tight, would want another half hour or so to be safe.

There is 50+kW ESB chargers at nearby Dublin port if they arrive early it won't be totally wasted time. May save on parking charges too.

If it's the one on East Wall road, that's restricted to ESB employees only. Also bear in mind that he's at a gig, so overstay charges would hit on the faster chargers.

Park across the bridge in Ringsend. There is a 22kw AC charger there. Literally a 5 minute walk to the 3 arena and is perfect for a quick getaway after a concert.

If you're really stuck, you can park and charge at my house. I'm in North Dublin subs. 10 min walk to train station. Also right beside a couple of bus routes that go into the city centre, passing east wall. Unless you are quite early for the gig, the nearby charge points will almost certainly be busy. You could arrive early and go for a meal.

The nearest charger is 22kW AC, it’s about 2 minutes walk away. I wouldn’t bother with Ringsend personally. Your issue is there’s only 2 but I generally don’t see these particular ones ice’d. If that doesn’t work, jump onto the Circle K in the port.

The on street one is pay & display 7-7.

I'd stop at Tesla in Enfield on the way up and down for a few minutes and take the grief out of Dublin city charging
